Elastin

Elastin is the protein responsible for the elasticity of vertebrate tissues. It gives the elastic fibers of the dermis their elasticity and resilience and allows the skin to return to its original position when it is pinched or stretched. Its synthesis decreases with age and elastin is replaced by inextensible collagen leading to a loss of elasticity of the skin. The products of the Biocyte range contain elastin to preserve the tone and suppleness of your skin. Result: the signs of age are reduced !
